Chris Kerr was born in Buffalo to a first generation Irish-American father and a Sicilian-American mother, alongside seven brothers and sisters. After graduating from Bishop Turner High School, Chris put himself through Syracuse University and Duke University School of Law. While at Duke, he served as president of the student bar association.
Admitted to practice in New York, Pennsylvania, and the federal court for the Western District of New York, he has been recognized by professional organizations including being named a Super Lawyer on multiple occasions.
Chris has won tens of millions of dollars* in settlements, awards and judgments for his clients. He has handled all types of vehicle accidents, involving cars, trucks, motorcycles, buses, trains, boats, ATVs and snowmobiles. He has also resolved slip and fall and other premises liability cases, product liability claims, and work and school accidents. As part of his representation, he has assisted clients with their wills, estates, guardianships, trusts, traffic offenses, property damage, no-fault insurance claims, medical bills, and real estate matters, and coordinated with their disability and workers compensation claims. His focus is providing professional and personal service to his clients without regard for the size and type of case.
Outside of the office, Chris and the former Karen Kaczor are the proud parents of Kelsey and Christopher. As an active member of the community, he has served as coach, official, legal counsel, and board member for youth swimming, baseball and basketball organizations. In 2015 he was inducted into the Orchard Park Little League Hall of Fame for his volunteer activities. He has also served on several school district committees.
